New courses TBC.
Over the last few years I have been sharing my experience in Restorative Dentistry with dentists of all levels up and down the country. From foundation dentists embarking on their career to Specialists in Prosthodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics.
My aim has been to cut through all the noise and jargon, simplifying the concept of minimally invasive indirect preparations so that every practitioner can achieve a high standard within a clinically acceptable timeframe.
My mantra is to “Keep it Simple” and to make it reproducible time and time again. In my view there is no value in teaching techniques which take hours of clinical time to perform as that is just not practical or affordable for the majority of patients.
Every prep technique and clinical workflow that I share is designed to be performed by a general practitioner within 20 minutes of clinical time. Be it a veneer preparation or a crown, 20 minutes of cutting time is as much as it should ever take.
I NEVER teach my courses on benchtop models as that is not a true reflection of clinical practice. Instead I insist on teaching using proper phantom heads with turbines, water spray, suction etc so that the teaching is as close to reality as it is possible to get. Delegates practice prep after prep using mirror vision until they achieve excellent results within the 20 minute timeframe.
Phantom head facilities however are quite scarce and even more so at weekends so my London based courses sometimes have to be held on weekdays.
Places on my courses tend to sell out quite quickly so I would encourage those considering booking to do so as soon as dates become available as there is often a waiting list.
